--Music and Drama Ministry

At Woodridge, some of our moments of greatest joy overflow from those times when we gather to worship God. As a church family we have a desire to lift our hearts and our voices in praise. We have been blessed to have in our fellowship many who have been gifted by God with the ability to praise Him through music.

Participation in the Music Ministry is open to anyone who loves the Lord and has a desire to serve Him with their talents. Following is a list of opportunities available to those who would like to become a part of this exciting ministry:

ADULT CHOIR: (Wednesdays at 8:00 P.M.) - This choir provides music for the Sunday Morning and Evening services and special musical presentations.

PRAISE TEAM: (Thursdays at 7:00 P.M.) - The Praise Team is a contemporary vocal and instrumental ensemble which helps to lead in worship during the morning and evening worship services. (Membership by audition)

YOUTH CHOIR: (Sundays at 5:00 P.M.) - Students grade 7-12 prepare music and drama for worship services and special presentations.

CHILDREN’S CHOIRS: (Sundays at 5:00 p.m.)

Music Learners: Preschool

Music Makers: Grades 1 - 3

Young Musicians: Grades 4 – 6

INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC:

Instrumentalists are encouraged to use their talents in ensemble work, as soloists, and for accompaniment.
