--Sunday SchoolSunday School is the "Bible Teaching Arm" of Woodridge Baptist Church. This powerful organization of small groups focuses on Bible study, outreach, and fellowship. Many classes take on special projects. Classes for children and youth are organized by age. All of these classes meet at 9:45 AM before the Contemporary worship service except for nursery where children stay through both 9:45 AM and 11:00 AM sessions while the parents attend Sunday School and worship. Adult classes are open to whomever feels comfortable within a certain class. These classes meet at three different time periods. Adult classes are organized into 6 departments. 8:30 Sunday School Department 1 meets at 8:30 and is followed by the Traditional worship service. Ruth Class (Ladies)
Department 2 meets at 8:30 and is followed by the Traditional worship service. Early Risers Class (Men and Ladies)
Department 3 meets at 8:30 and is followed by the Traditional worship service. Achievers Class (Ladies)
9:45 Sunday School Department 4 meets at 9:45 and is followed by the Contemporary worship service. Cross Seekers Class (Men and Ladies)
11:00 Sunday School Department 5 meets at 11:00 and is preceded by the Traditional worship service. Gleaners Class (Ladies)
Department 6 meets at 11:00 and is preceded by the Traditional worship service. Encouragers Class (Men and Ladies) |
