Sunday School
Sunday School is where students can get to know Jesus Christ and our youth family. We have great small group leaders who will love and encourage youth to grow in their relationship with Christ. We meet every Sunday at 9:45 upstairs in the youth room. Below is a list of topics that we will dive into over the next few months.
September
"Can You Hear Me Now"
As Students learn to pray, they get to know God; as they know God it becomes easier to spend time with Him in prayer.
October
"Destinations"
God cares about the decisions we make and wants to be involved in helping us make wise choices. Students will learn that their direction not their intention will determine their destination.
November
"Got Plans Friday Night?"
Teens are all about relationships but often fail to realize the negative aspects of some relationships. The Bible has a lot to say when it comes to creating solid relationships. Teens will learn that purity is the pathway to intimacy.
Lighthouse
Lighthouse is designed for youth to have a time of worship together as well as discuss life issues they may be facing. The lighthouse band leads in worship and our youth minister Steve Efferson gives an interactive lesson that focuses on practical ways of applying faith to their lives. Here at Woodridge Baptist Church we value being a church family so there are times that we spend with the rest of the family during the prayer meeting hour. Discipleship Training
In Discipleship Training youth are challenged to know and own their faith. They are challenged to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Right now we are looking at life issues and how to handle them God's way.
Ministry Groups
Youth on Mission meets at 6:00 on Wednesdays
Drama Team meets at 8:00 on Wednesdays (Will not meet during the summer)
Youth Band meets at 4:00 on Sundays
Youth Choir meets at 5:00 on Sundays (Will not meet during the summer)
